I have lived in Bartlett for 10 years. I grew up in Lombard and always wanted to be a teacher. I started babysitting at 14 on a weekly basis. I went to college at Eastern Illinois University and right after college started working as an Activities Director at the DuPage Convalescent Center. I enjoyed working with people with disabilities, but knew I still wanted to be a teacher. I got my Masters Degree from Roosevelt University and started working as a Special Education teacher.

I taught for 5 years and got married to my husband, who I met at Glenbard East High School.
In 2011, I had my daughter and decided to stay home to raise my kids. My son was born 2 ½ years later in 2014 on Valentine's day.

In my free time I enjoy hanging out with family and friends. I enjoy taking walks and exercising. In the summer, my kids love being a part of the swim team. While being at home with my kids, I have loved being able to volunteer in their classrooms. I helped lead my daughter's Girl Scout Troop, coach my son’s t-ball team, and most recently volunteered as a Sunday School Teacher.
